Privacy Policy
This policy explains how ZNATA handles information in connection with the Wood Decoy mobile application and related public website communications.
Overview
This Privacy Policy applies to the Wood Decoy app for mobile devices, together with any related services operated by ZNATA, referred to in this policy as the Service Provider.
Wood Decoy is intended to help users organize decorative waterfowl carving references, species categories, anatomical pose templates, plumage color-zone notes, pigment mixes, project stages, workshop hours, resource counters, and photo portfolio records.
Information
The Application does not collect, log, sell, share, or store personal information when you download and use it. Registration is not required, and the app does not require a user account, login, profile, dashboard, or authorization system.
If the Application or related website is used with an active internet connection, technical protocol data such as an ephemeral IP address may be transmitted by network infrastructure to facilitate connectivity. This data is not retained by ZNATA for tracking.
Local Records
If the app stores project titles, target species, waterfowl category selections, plumage reference notes, color-zone notes, pigment mixes, anatomical pose templates, wood type selections, design notes, progress stage records, workshop hours, resource counters, project photos, portfolio archive entries, text size preferences, inactivity reminder settings, or app settings, those records are intended to remain local to the user’s device unless a future feature clearly states otherwise.
The Service Provider does not receive, host, or process those local workshop records during normal app use.
Data Retention
Because the Application does not collect personal information through normal use, ZNATA does not retain personal information from the app.
Any carving project data saved inside the app remains on the user’s device and is controlled by the user. ZNATA does not maintain a server-side copy of project logs, pigment notes, photos, portfolio entries, or app settings.
Data Deletion
Since ZNATA does not collect or retain app data through normal use, there is no server-side app data for ZNATA to delete.
Users can remove locally stored app records by using available in-app clear or delete options, if provided, or by uninstalling the Application from the device. If you voluntarily contact ZNATA by email or through another direct channel, you may request deletion of that voluntarily provided information by contacting support@znata.it.com.
Location
The Application does not collect precise real-time location information from the mobile device for the Service Provider. Wood Decoy is a decorative carving workshop utility and does not require location tracking for its normal purpose.
Third Parties
Since the Application does not collect personal information through normal use, no personal data is shared with third parties by ZNATA.
Children
The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age, or such higher age as required by applicable law. ZNATA does not knowingly solicit personal data from children or market to them.
Since the Application does not collect personal information through normal use, children’s data is not collected by the app. If a child voluntarily provides personal information by another direct channel, a parent or guardian may contact ZNATA to request deletion.
Security
Because the Application does not collect personal data through normal use, the risk of personal data exposure from the app is minimal. No digital system can be guaranteed completely secure, but ZNATA applies reasonable safeguards to systems and any information it may receive voluntarily.
Responsible Use
Wood Decoy is a decorative waterfowl carving planning, reference, project logging, and portfolio utility. It is not hunting software, wildlife capture software, certified ornithology reference software, protected species compliance software, professional taxidermy instruction, or a replacement for craft experience, material safety practices, responsible wildlife regulations, professional art instruction, or expert workshop judgment.
Users are responsible for following safe carving practices, tool safety procedures, material instructions, and all applicable local laws.
Changes
ZNATA may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by posting an updated Privacy Policy with a revised effective date. Where required by law, ZNATA will seek consent before material changes take effect.
Consent
By using the Application, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you voluntarily provide information directly to ZNATA and processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
